Wilma Jean Church, 77, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020 at her home surrounded by loved ones. Born Wednesday, June 24, 1942 in Somerset, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Loyd & Della Mae Coffey Denton. Wilma was a cashier for many years and a member of Preachersville Church of Christ. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Chester Church, sisters; Connie Langdon, Gayle Wilson, grandchild; Chris Coomer, & companion, Ivan Miracle.
Survivors include a son, David (Jackie) Williams, of Ohio, daughters; Lora Coomer, of Somerset, Lisa (Michael) Slavey, of Eubank, Lana (Chris) Haynes, of Somerset, brothers; Charles (Connie) Denton, of Lancaster, Murrell (Jackie) Denton, of Science Hill, sisters; Charlotte Miller, of Somerset & Mary Lou Caudill, of Burnside, grandchildren; Jessica Cox, Amanda Mounce, great-grandchildren; Barbara Jean Mounce, Lisa May Cox, Brandon Cox, Alex Cox, Jacob Mounce & Joseph Mounce.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be; Michael Slavey, David Williams, Charles Denton, Charlie Denton, Greg Denton & Randy Swenney. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until service time Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at the funeral home.
