Tom was a great gentleman. He gave me an opportunity at Alltel and he always took the time to check in for birthdays, service anniversaries and congratulations to any moves in my career path. He would go out of his way to make his presence and his thoughts for you known with a personal touch that does not exist much by today’s standard. He will be missed a great deal. Prayers for everyone who’s life he brightened.

The world lost a great man on Wednesday. Tom was a great asset to our work group and his wit and leadership will be sorely missed. All of us have a “Tomism” that sticks with us and that was the mark he left us with. As others have said he was a defender of his people and what was right. I am thankful that I got to know him and to lead with him. His loss leaves a hole in our hearts. God bless the family and friends, all are in my thoughts and prayers.

  • Pam Moran Posted March 30, 2018 7:41 pm

Tom was the hardest working manager I’ve ever known. He was passionate, dedicated and engaged and warm. He invested himself in all he did and was a man of his word. Whenever we needed help in any area, Tom was the one who made it happen. My heart aches for Tom and his family and I pray God will send comfort and strength. There is a void here without him and my whole departments feels it. Our team will never be the same without Tom. .
