Minnie LeMay

Minnie Mae Thomas LeMay, 77, of Frankfort, formerly of Lancaster, died peacefully in her home on Sunday, June 23, 2019.
Born Wednesday, April 29, 1942 in Danville, she was a daughter of the late Nellie Marie Jones and Herbert Cecil Thomas.
Minnie was married to the late Stanley Herron LeMay. She was preceded in death by her son, Randy LeMay; and sister, Judy Thomas. Minnie is survived by her daughter, Shawn (Louis) Gehlhausen; son, Greg LeMay; brother, Ronnie Thomas; grandchildren, Ryan Gehlhausen, Courtney (Christopher) Birnbaum, Sarah LeMay, Shelby Gehlhausen, Catherine LeMay, Adam Gehlhausen, and Jessica Boone; and great-grandchild, Blayne Boone.
Friends and family can pay their respects at the visitation on Thursday, June 27 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home, 315 Richmond Street, Lancaster, (859) 792-2621. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 28 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Bro. Daryl Hodge & Nathaniel Sallee officiating, and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ryan Gelhausen, Adam Gelhausen, Blayne Boone, Christopher Birnbaum, Nick Kaminski & Justin Ramirez. Honorary pallbearers include Nick, Zach & Ricky Shelton. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Minnie’s memory may go to, Hospice of the Bluegrass and/or the Alzheimer’s Association.

    I wish to express my sympathy and let you know that my thoughts are with you. Minnie was a high school class mate of mine – she was so nice and so smart. May God bless you with those wonderful memories of her.
