Kenneth Ray Plummer, 60, of Lancaster, husband of Carol Plummer, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020 at his home. Born Saturday, August 08, 1959 in Stanford, he was the son of the late Willie & Juanita Franklin Plummer. Kenneth was a pipe liner for Dix & Associates Pipeline, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and loved his animals. He was a member of Gilberts Creek Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Brandon Scott Plummer and his dog Dixie.
Survivors include his loving wife Carol Switzer Plummer, of Lancaster, son; Cody Plummer, of Lancaster, Mother in law; Barbara Switzer, of Lancaster, brother; David (Audrey) Plummer, of Stanford, grandchild; Nathaniel Scott Plummer, of Lancaster & many of his dogs.
A public funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Browning & Rev. Leonard Harrison officiating, with burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Gay, Craig McClure, David Plummer, Phil Murphy, Ed Edgington & Charlie Dunn, honorary pallbearers include; Trava Murphy, Clarence Switzer. Jr, Vicki Murphy & Bill Leavel. Public visitation will be held from 11:00AM until service time Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at the funeral home, due to Covid-19, hand sanitizer and mask will be available.
