We are so saddened to hear of the passing of Janis. She was always such a kind person who set an example for people to live life to the fullest. I always admired how she would load her horses up and go trail riding nearly everyday. She was also known for being a devoted animal advocate. She helped both animals and humans in her volunteer services with her dog Purdy, as they visited nursing homes and other rehab facilities. Janis is an inspiration. God bless your family. Sincerely — The Parkers

It’s been many years since I ask Janis to be the Kentucky coordinator for Midstates Mule and Donkey Show Society…she did it willingly and accomplished many positive activities. She was a wonderful person and in the last year or two I followed her activities on facebook…she was a wonderful and giving lady….and she will be greatly missed by all of us…may God bless…Tom Asher
