I have many fond memories of her visits to see my parents. She was my mother’s childhood playmate and my dad’s first cousin. She was beautiful both inside and out.

Such a sweet and dear lady, who always was smiling and so kind to me, who suffered such a tragedy when her husband and daughter were killed in the train accident years ago ( no mother should have to endure such a thing ) thoughts and prayers to this family I have known for years.

I have so many wonderful memories of Dora Mae. Living beside her growing up she was a big influence in my life and she was my mother’s best friend. While I am sadden by her passing, I can only imagine her joyous reunion with her husband, son and daughter , her parents, but most of all I can see her and my mother drinking coffee before they went to the field to work on a fence or clean out flower beds. My thoughts and prayers are with all Dora Mae’s family and friend . She was a special one of a kind gem. I will miss her .

Dora Mae was such a sweet person. She always spoke to everyone and always had a smile and a minute to chat. I remember seeing her always with her little hat on in town. She always took the time to speak to my girls and I when we would see her out. She always had a smile and loved her family so very much. She will be greatly missed.
